Rush River Scenic, or RRS for short, has been in business for over 20 years. The company began in 2001 with only the owners, Nils and Jennifer Rahm, at their dining room table. Nils and his wife developed the company to fit a need in Minneapolis for quality workmanship in the set production, fabrication, and experiential exhibit industry.

Nils has been in the photography industry for many years, with past experience on action and brand photography. His photography background accounts for his good eye for detail and design. His high level of quality carpentry knowledge comes from 30 years of experience in the field. In addition, Nils has a natural ability to bond and collaborate with clients to produce the finest results for all concerned.

Our Space
Rush River Scenic’s home base is a beautiful 125 acre farm. Our farm features a full Dutch barn, 8,100 square feet of heated workshop space, and 6,800 square feet of cold storage. Additionally, we are conveniently located near the Minneapolis St. Paul Metro area. Come for a visit and a tour!
Our Team
Our team of creative professionals consists of master carpenters, designers, builders, and finishers. We specialize in extensive woodworking knowledge, creative design, and spraying lacquer to achieve a superior finish.
We also have an in-house welder and machine fabricator with over 40 years of experience, and our artist has won numerous awards.
